4th December 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~4th Day-Spirit of YHVH
Guard and entrust are the key words for the day. The Spirit of YHVH gives us the enablement to do that which we’ve been called to do. In fact, it is by submission to The Spirit that we are able to walk in the responsibility we’ve been given to guard that which has been entrusted to us.
3rd December 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~3rd Day-Counsel
…under the section for the Hebrew letter Gimel. This is the third letter in the Hebrew Aleph Bet and it also represents the ordinal number three within the Hebrew language. This language does not have a separate numbering system. It uses the Hebrew letters for numbers. The Gimel in the ancient font was represented by a camel head.
2nd December 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~2nd Day-Understanding
The ancient symbol for this word looks like an angled cross. It means a sign, to seal or covenant. Because Yeshua hung on that “cross” or torcher stake, we now have access into the eternal covenant with our heavenly Father when we receive Him as the Messiah.
1st December 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~1st Day-Wisdom
20 Do not be with heavy drinkers of wine, or with gluttonous eaters of meat; 21 For the heavy drinker and the glutton will come to poverty, and drowsiness will clothe one with rags.”
30th November 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~7th Day-Fear of YHVH
2 When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you.
29th November 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~6th Day-Knowledge
I find it very interesting that the subjects covered in this Psalm are designated to be read or sung on the Sabbath. The Sabbath, as well as Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles), is a prophetic portent of the millennial reign with Messiah. When we gather on Shabbat and ingather at Sukkot as commanded, we are rehearsing weekly and annually the day that we will ultimately be gathered and concealed until the final judgment when we will finally enter the eternal day.
28th November 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~5th Day-Power
1 Peter 5:5 says, “You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for Elohim is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Psalm 132:9 says, “Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let Your godly ones sing for joy.
27th November 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~4th Day-Spirit of YHVH
We’ve heard most of our lives as believers that we are not to grieve the Holy Spirit. What exactly does that mean? For me, coming from a Pentecostal background, it was mostly in the context of not obeying the prompting of the Holy Spirit when moved upon in service or otherwise. While that can be “A” truth, we must allow the Torah, which is the foundation for all true and biblical doctrines, to give us the meaning of it.
26th November 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~3rd Day-Counsel
The Spirit of Counsel, when sought after and taken, will always give us the healthy boundaries we need in order to stay on the right path. It is easy to chase the sensational and tantalizing knowledge of others, but this often leads us outside of sound doctrine that is established in the Word. We must be wise and discerning so that we don’t find ourselves so far from the truth that we hardly recognize it anymore.
