Colossians 2:23-24 says, “23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for Adonai rather than for men, 24 knowing that from Adonai you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Master Yeshua whom you serve.”
20th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~7th Day-Fear of YHVH
When I was praying and preparing for today’s deLIGHT I was led to Psalm 103. What powerful words lie within this Psalm!! There was NO place to cut it off. Please take the time to read and marinade in the truths of these verses. It is a salve for our souls when applied to our lives.
19th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~6th Day-Knowledge
The greatest purpose that we have for the Spirit of Knowledge to operate in our lives is so that we can KNOW the Messiah as our Redeemer and in turn our heavenly Father on an intimate level.
18th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~5th Day-Power
Romans regarded crucifixion as a death appropriate for slaves; Israelites also saw it as shameful (Deut 21:23). Those viewed as “saviors” were normally gods, kings, wealthy benefactors or miracle workers. Roman society was built around power and status; power was concentrated in the male head of the household, in wealthy and aristocratic families, and so forth.
17th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~4th Day-Spirit of YHVH
John came in the spirit of Elijah and the Days of Elijah will come again before the great and terrible day of YHVH. What was, is, and will be again!!
16th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~3rd Day-Counsel
Several of the disciple’s livelihood was fishing. This night they caught nothing which means no income for this day of fishing. Yeshua shows up on the beach and they didn’t initially recognize Him.
15th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~2nd Day-Understanding
After Yeshua opened their mind to understand the Scriptures, He repeated what He had been teaching them while they walked with Him before His crucifixion and resurrection, only this time they will finally understand WHAT He was saying.
14th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~1st Day-Wisdom
When we decide to “move the boundary of the meaning” of a commandment, this too, is forbidden. The commandments are considered guardrails that serve as safety boundaries for our walk as a believer!!
13th July 2024: Our Daily deLIGHT~7th Day-Fear of YHVH
So the first afraid used in Exodus 20:20 has the idea of being frightened, dread, and terrible as to make one tremble. This we do not need to have about our Elohim!! This is how the pagans were with their gods…they were frightened of them. However, we are to fear YHVH meaning to reverence Him, be in awe of.
