Understanding
Today we will continue with Scriptures that speak about the fool and understanding and the promises that YHVH always has us in His view.
Psalm 14:1-2 says; “1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohim”. They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; there is no one who does good. [This is speaking of an atheist. One who does not believe in YHVH is considered: corrupt, having abominable deeds…who does no good in the eyes of YHVH.] 2 YHVH has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek after Elohim” YHVH is seeking out those who understand that He does exist, is their Creator and Redeemer and will seek after Him.
Psalm 33:13-15 says, “13 YHVH looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men; 14 From His dwelling place He looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, 15 He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works.” YHVH created us and there is nowhere that we can hide from Him. David, who wrote the Psalms that we’re using today, constantly wrote of YHVH looking from heaven onto the sons of man. He seemed to frequently be aware of this and gave reminders that Yah knows us and understands everything that we do because He fashioned us. If we would walk in understanding and keep in the forefront of our minds that He has His eye on us, we could walk in a peace that He’s “got us” in our going out and our coming in. In addition to this, if we’ll be keenly aware of these truths it would also convict us before committing sin for we would remember that He SEES it all.
Psalm 102:19-22 says, “19 For He looked down from His holy height; from heaven YHVH gazed upon the earth, 20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free those who were doomed to death, [Not only the natural prisoner but the one enslaved to sin…lost and in need of salvation He sets free.] 21 That men may tell of the name of YHVH in Zion and His praise in Jerusalem, 22 When the peoples are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve YHVH.” The pattern of gathering together has been the desire of our Elohim since the beginning. This is what He’s doing in these last days in order to do the ultimate gathering to Him in Jerusalem.
May we, through these verses today, have the Spirit of understanding that we are never left without the constant care of our Creator and He is seeking out those who desire to be set free and seek after Him.
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
