​Proverbs 13:16 says; “Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool displays folly.” A wise or prudent man knows how to act because he has the knowledge of what he’s doing.  A foolish man displays his folly by speaking of things to which he knows nothing about. Humility acknowledges when there’s something not known.

Proverbs 12:23 says, “A prudent man conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims folly.”  When a man doesn’t display his knowledge he is being modest and wise.  He doesn’t feel the need to let everyone know how informed he is. A foolish man speaks continuously of his thoughts, whether right or wrong.

Proverbs 15:2 says; “The tongue of the wise makes knowledge acceptable, but the mouth of fools spouts folly.” The wise man uses knowledge for the good of others, while it is opposite for the foolish man, he repulses others.

Proverbs 15:7 says; “The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but the hearts of fools are not so.” The word spread in this verse is the Hebrew word Zara it means to scatter, disperse, spread as in scattering or planting seed.  So the wise know how to plant their knowledge, while the foolish have nothing to plant.

As we allow the Spirit of Knowledge to fill our hearts, we will know how and when to properly respond with what we know!! A great place to start is within our own homes with our family members.
