Spirit of YHVH
The Spirit of YHVH has been since the beginning of time. YHVH’s Spirit is eternal!! At the creation of the heavens and the earth the Spirit of YHVH hovered over the face of the deep. He created man and breathed His Spirit in him and he became a living soul. We could literally go on and on and on with examples of His Spirit present and active in all facets of life. As we look back in Biblical and past history we can be assured that our heavenly Father fulfills His promise to have His Spirit with His people. Because of His faithfulness He often declared in the Word to not fear and take courage. When we are obedient to His ways we can have the peace and assurance that He is abiding with us and in us!! To have His Spirit is a great motivator to obey all that His Word says. If we need peace or encouragement today, may these verses minister deep into our hearts!!
Haggai 2:4-5 says,
4 But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares YHVH, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares YHVH, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares YHVH of hosts. [No one was left out of the declaration to
take courage. It was for everyone!!]
5 ‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’
John 16:33 says,
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
Exodus 19:4-6 says,
4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself.
5 Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;
6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”
Exodus 29:45-46 says,
45 I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their Elohim.
46 They shall know that I am YHVH their Elohim who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am YHVH their Elohim. [Repeated this twice.]
May our hearts be comforted and filled with courage as we walk through our day, week, month and year trusting His Word that when we keep His covenant and obey His voice, the Spirit of YHVH is going ahead of us and behind us; He’s with us and in us!!! HalleluYah for His everlasting faithfulness and love to His people!!
