Spirit of YHVH
Today we will read another Messianic prophecy of Yeshua and His promises to those who receive Him. In Matthew 12:17-18 this is He which was spoken of many years prior to Yeshua’s coming and should build our faith in the truth that YHVH is faithful to watch over His Word and bring it to pass. “17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: 18 “BEHOLD, MY SERVANT WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN; MY BELOVED IN WHOM MY SOUL IS WELL-PLEASED; I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT [Breath] UPON HIM, AND HE SHALL PROCLAIM JUSTICE TO THE GENTILES.” This happened when Yeshua came and then He followed suit by placing the Spirit in His children. As we read today, take in a DEEP breath and be reminded that is how NEAR our Elohim is to us…He is our VERY breath!!
Isaiah 42:5-9 says
5 Thus says Elohim YHVH, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it,
6 “I am YHVH, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, and I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations,
7 To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon and those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
8 “I am YHVH, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images.
9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.”
Acts 17:24-25 says,
24 The Elohim who made the world and all things in it, since He is Adonai of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; [He dwells IN those who apply the blood of Yeshua to their lives.]
25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things;
Genesis 2:7 says, “Then YHVH Elohim formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise YHVH. Praise YHVH!
It’s His breath that we breathe; therefore the life that we live, and the words that are uttered with that breath, should bring Him glory. If we feel spiritually sluggish or weak or even dead, may we allow the Spirit of YHVH to oxygenate every cell of our body and spring us back into newness of life.
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
