Happy Preparation Day for the weekly Shabbat!!!! May it be filled with the presence of our King as we prepare to enter into Shabbat and worship of Him!!
When we have a good working knowledge of who is in control, our faith and confidence in our heavenly Father will be built and remain strong. There are times when things don’t make sense and we don’t know how to handle what we’re going through; or worse yet, we don’t know how LONG we will have to go through our circumstances. This is why it’s VITAL that we know YHVH’s sovereignty because it is THE thing that we can lean into so that our faith doesn’t waver!! Below we will go through some great verses that confirm the very purpose of our creation.
Romans 11:33-36 says,
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
34 For who has known the mind of the Master, or who became His counselor?
35 Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again?
36 For from Him and through Him and toHim are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. [We were created to make His praise glorious. Psalm 66:2, Psalm 96:3.]
Ephesians 3:8-10 says,
8 To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Messiah, [Paul’s message to the nations.]
9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in Elohim who created all things;
10 so that the manifold wisdom of Elohimmight now be made known through the congregation to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.” [As a congregation we are to set the example of YHVH and Yeshua to others.]
Job 41:11 says, “Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.” [Everything is made by Him and for Him.]
1 Corinthians 8:6 says, “yet for us there is but one Elohim, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Master, Yeshua Messiah, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.”
Colossians 1:16-23 says, “16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. [This should greatly comfort us.] 18 He is also head of the body, the congregation; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead [He wasn’t the first to be resurrected from the dead, but He WAS the first to be resurrected and not die again…this is a prophetic portent of the resurrection of the Saints at the end of time where we will reign in the kingdom.], so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.”
Notice all of the prepositions in the verses above: from Him, through Him, to Him, in Him, by Him, before Him, for Him. There is nothing in the universe that isn’t made by Him and for Him. Therefore, may we cross over today and allow the knowledge of these verses to penetrate our hearts so that the Spirit of Knowledge can give us the light we need so we can know Him and fully trust Him in all of our situations.
Have a blessed and shalom filled preparation day!!!
