14th December 2023: Our Daily deLIGHT~5th Day-Power

Power
King David was a mighty warrior, yet he continually made mention that he understood who his strength, help and ability came from. YHVH his Elohim!! When we surrender our lives to the Creator and acknowledge that it is by His hand that we can do anything, He fills us with His strength and power. If we don’t recognize and surrender who it comes from, we are left to our own feeble ideas and ways that end in distress and disaster. Below are some powerful promises for the people of Elohim.
Psalm 28:6-9 says, “6 Blessed be YHVH, because He has heard the voice of my supplication. 7 YHVH is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. 8 YHVH is their strength, [A few ancient versions read “YHVH is the strength of His people.] and He is a saving defense to His anointed. 9 Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.”
Psalm 59:16-17 says, “16 But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness in the morning, for You have been my stronghold and a refuge in the day of my distress. 17 O my strength, I will sing praises to You; for Elohim is my stronghold, the Elohim who shows me lovingkindness.”
Psalm 20:6-9 says, “6 Now I know that YHVH saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. 7 Some boast in chariots and some in horses, But we will boast in the name of YHVH, our Elohim. 8 They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright. [Rising and standing upright after falling is a resurrection concept… we are able to do this because of His Power and Strength, not our own.] 9 Save, O YHVH; may the King answer us in the day we call.”
1. YHVH is my strength
2. YHVH is my shield
3. My heart trusts in Him
4. I am helped
5. My heart exults
6. I shall thank Him
7. YHVH is the strength of His people
8. YHVH is a saving defense
9. I shall sing of YHVH’s strength
10. I shall joyfully sing of YHVH’s lovingkindness in the morning
11. YHVH is my stronghold
12. YHVH is my refuge
13. YHVH saves
14. YHVH answers with the saving strength of His right hand
15. I will boast in the Name of YHVH
16. By His power I will rise and stand upright
Our combat or opportunity may not be on a literal battlefield, but we are in a fight for victory nonetheless. Our strength comes from YHVH, maker of heaven and earth!! We have the victory in Him!! May we be filled with the Spirit of Power to fight the good fight of faith and finish strong!!
