Fear of YHVH
Shabbat Shalom!! We look forward to worshipping with the Treasured Ones today!!
Psalm 5:7 says; “But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, at Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.” The word bow in this verse is the Hebrew word Shachah. The connotation of this word is to worship to which bowing can be a part. David is acknowledging that it is the lovingkindness of YHVH to GET to enter His place of worship. The outcome is Fear or Reverence of YHVH. When we are gathered at a place that is set apart for the holy convocation, the natural response should be to worship in reverence to YHVH. Sometimes we can find our minds distracted and wandering when it should be worshipping. When this happens, we can recognize it and ask the lovingkindness of our heavenly Father to help us return to worship so that we can demonstrate our Reverence for Him.
The verses below are encouraging promises for those who Trust and Fear YHVH!!
Psalm 115:9-15 says,
“9 O Israel, trust in YHVH; He is their help and their shield.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in YHVH; He is their help and their shield.
11 You who fear YHVH, trust in YHVH; He is their help and their shield.
12 YHVH has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless those who fear YHVH, The small together with the great.
14 May YHVH give you increase, You and your children.
15 May you be blessed of YHVH, Maker of heaven and earth.
May these words be internalized in our hearts today!!
May we have a joyful Shabbat!!
