Proverbs 12:15 says, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.”

Proverbs 19:20 says;   “Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days.” Many of us have regrets in our lives because we weren’t willing to listen to counsel from those who have been given to us to steer us in the right way back to Yah the Father and to His Son Yeshua!! But it’s never too late to humble ourselves and seek out godly counsel and trust the Father to direct those that are in our path.  If we will, this verse says that we will “be wise the rest of our days.”  Those are strong and yet encouraging words from Solomon!!

1 John 4:1-6 says; “1. Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from Elohim because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2. By this, you know the Spirit of Elohim: every spirit that confesses that Yeshua Messiah has come in the flesh is from Elohim; 3. and every spirit that does not confess Yeshua is not from Elohim; this is the spirit of the anti-messiah, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 4. You are from Elohim, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 5. They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world [They Counsel from the world], and the world listens to them [Takes Counsel from them]. 6. We are from Elohim; he who knows Elohim listens to us [Takes Counsel]; he who is not from Elohim does not listen to us [Does not take Counsel]. By this, we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”

Whose “counsel” are we listening to…the world’s or those who follow the righteous path?  May we seek and heed the counsel from those who are from the spirit of truth!!
