Spirit of YHVH
Our Creator, YHVH, designed our physical bodies to require and need water every day. Our bodies are made up of a lot of water. There are varying opinions what that percentage is; however, when I was in school back in the 70’s I was taught that our bodies are 70% water. I didn’t think anything about that at the time, but now I think, “Of course it is.” Seventy is a very significant number Biblically. While you rarely get such an exact number today, and probably for good reason, the numbers that are given do encompass the 70%. We’ve mentioned before, in our Daily deLIGHTS, the connections there are in Scripture with water and the Holy Spirit. Today we will look at more verses that join this truth.
Isaiah 44:1-5 says
1 “But now listen, O Jacob, My servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus says YHVH who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you, ‘Do not fear, O Jacob My servant; and you Jeshurun whom I have chosen. [Jeshurun is a name of endearment for Israel. Some scholars think it means upright.]
3 ‘For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants;
4 And they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water.’
5 “This one will say, ‘I am YHVH’s’; and that one will call on the name of Jacob; and another will write on his hand, ‘Belonging to YHVH,’ and will name Israel’s name with honor.’
Ezekiel 34:26-27 says,
26 I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing.
27 Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am YHVH, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. [Transformed them into freedom.]
Joel 3:18 says, “And in that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk, and all the brooks of Judah will flow with water; and a spring will go out from the house of YHVH to water the valley of Shittim.”
May the Spirit of YHVH cause these verses to be a cool refreshing drink to our souls!!
