Let’s look at Jeremiah 9:23-24 in the Amplified Bible the Classic Version (AMPC) as it’s much more clear; “23 Thus says YHVH: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty and powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich [in physical gratification and earthly wealth] glory and boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] riches; 24 But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character], that I am YHVH, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says YHVH.”

This is such a powerful version of this Scripture that we would do well to incorporate into our lives!! I will list the things that our Creator YHVH says from His mouth to our ears that we should glory in, as well as understand and know about Him.

1. That we understand Him
2. That we know Him Personally
3. That we know Him Practically
4. That we Directly Discern His Character
5. That we Recognize His character
6. That He IS YHVH
7. That He Practices Lovingkindness
8. That He Practices Judgment
9. That He Practices Righteousness in the earth

We could call these the “Nine Distinctions of a True Disciple!!”

May we surrender to THE One who gives us the Spirit of Power that distinguishes us from all peoples!!
