Jeremiah 32:16-19 says; “16 After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, then I prayed to YHVH, saying, 17 ‘Ah Adonai YHVH! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You, 18 who shows lovingkindness to thousands, but repays the iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their children after them, O great and mighty Elohim. YHVH of hosts is His name; 19 great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to every one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds;”

Isaiah 28:29 says; “This also comes from YHVH of hosts, who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great.”

Jeremiah and Isaiah called the counsel of YHVH GREAT and WONDERFUL!!  This comes through lives that have been completely surrendered to the Word of YHVH.  They trusted His counsel/advice above their own.  How many of us have had times in our lives where we really didn’t want to pray, seek counsel or search the Word for our answer because we were afraid that it might be different than what we desired it to be?  However, Yah’s will is exactly what we would want if we had all of the facts!! May we, like the prophets, say, “YHVH’s counsel is GREAT and WONDERFUL and always seek Him for our decisions and not lean to our own understanding.
