HappyPrep Day!! May it be filled with the presence of our King!!
Ecclesiastes 9:10 says; “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might [Power, Strength]; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol [the grave] where you are going.” Solomon is passing on wise knowledge and encouraging words that we are given the gift of today and in it we have activity, planning, knowledge and wisdom; therefore, everything we do we should do it with all of our might because, Solomon is saying, once we die it is over. We exemplify the character and nature of YHVH our Creator when we approach everything we do with a spirit of excellence. There is a difference in a spirit of excellence and the spirit of perfectionism. Often the perfectionist is not pleased with what they do as they always think it could have been done better, but one who approaches their work or day with a spirit of excellence knows that it may not be perfect, but they did put their all into it as unto YHVH.
Colossians 3:23-24 says, “23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for Adonai rather than for men, 24 knowing that from Adonai you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Master Messiah whom you serve.” If we will have the paradigm and perspective that everything we do is serving our Messiah rather than the person, then we’re more likely to accomplish what needs to be done excellently and enthusiastically.
1 Corinthians 15:58 says; “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of Adonai, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Master.” Ministry is often thought of as a work of the Kingdom, but if we connect this verse with the verse above, then this could be said about all kinds of work. When we exemplify the character of our Elohim in all that we do we’re actually bringing heaven to earth and that is a ministry too.
1 Peter 2:12 says; “Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify Elohim in the day of visitation.” Another confirmation.
In the days of Moses, YHVH gave him specific knowledge as to how everything was to be constructed, moved, administered and handled. It was very detailed so that the children of Israel and all those with them would know how to excellently carry out the commands. Carrying out the commands shows forth our love and relationship with Him. When we read the Word we gain the Spirit of Knowledge to know how to develop our character so that it is pleasing to Him and a witness and blessing to others.
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!!
