Saying number 14: Proverbs 23:15-16; “15 My son, if your heart is wise, My own heart also will be glad; 16 And my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right [wise].”

Proverbs 29:3a; “A man who loves wisdom makes his father glad,”

Proverbs 10:1; “A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish son is a grief to his mother.”

Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 says, “11 Wisdom, like an inheritance, is good, and it benefits those who see the sun. 12 For wisdom, like money, is a shelter, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of its owner.”

When we seek Yah and His Word for the Spirit of Wisdom each day and walk in it:

1. We make our Heavenly Father glad
2. We make our earthly Father glad
3. Wisdom is a shelter [protection]
4. Wisdom preserves our lives

A merry heart does good like a medicine (Proverbs 17:22), a key to having joy, and giving others the same, is to get wisdom.  We get wisdom by asking our Heavenly Father for it (James 1:5), reading and applying His Word for they are life and seeking godly counsel from those who do the first two. In all our getting, get wisdom. (Proverbs 4:7)
