Power

As believers in Yeshua, grace has brought us into the “house” of our Creator, YHVH and it is our obedience that KEEPS us there. As members of the family of Yah we have responsibilities and protections that we inherit.  Prior to entering the promise land, Moses gave to the children of Israel in his last message some very distinct instructions and reminders that they will need to embrace and keep as they go in and dwell there.

Deuteronomy 11:1-7 says; “1 “You shall therefore love YHVH your Elohim, and always keep His charge, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments2 “Know this day that I am not speaking with your sons who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of YHVH your Elohim—His greatness, His mighty hand and His outstretched arm [Both representing His Power]3 and His signs and His works which He did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt and to all his land; 4 and what He did to Egypt’s army, to its horses and its chariots, when He made the water of the Red Sea to engulf them while they were pursuing you, and YHVH completely destroyed them; 5 and what He did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place6 and what He did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, when the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, among all Israel— 7 but your own eyes have seen all the great work of YHVH which He did.”

Seventeen times in the NASB the phrase “Outstretched Arm” is used and nearly every time it is in connection with how our forefathers were led out of the land of Egypt…out of captivity.  This is important to understand because in the days to come we will experience this same thing when we are gathered by YHVH in the wilderness (Ezekiel 20).  The “outstretched arm” is a common phrase used in the ancient near east to speak of one’s power and authority. This is what the Elohim of Israel, YHVH, used to redeem and deliver His people from bondage. He hasn’t changed!! It is through the blood of Yeshua and by His outstretched arm or His power that we are delivered from whatever is currently holding us captive or in bondage.

Listed below are the keys to this freedom.

We should:

  1. Always keep His charge
  2. Keep His statutes
  3. Keep His ordinances
  4. Keep His commandments
  5. Remember how He delivered them…by His mighty hand and His outstretched arm…by His POWER!!!

Today, let’s take hold of His “outstretched arm” and see with our own eyes the GREAT POWER of YHVH and Yeshua in our circumstances, lives and attitudes and receive the FREEDOM and DELIVERANCE  that’s intended for the people of Elohim!!

Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
