Understanding
Our Heavenly Father is searching the hearts of His servants and understands, not only WHAT we do, but WHY we do what we do. King David desired with his whole heart to build a permanent house for YHVH. He was not allowed to build it because he was a man of war and bloodshed. However, out of all the sons of David, the Father did allow David’s son, Solomon, to be chosen to build it for Him. But there were stipulations, just as there are for all the people of Elohim. That never changes. Let’s explore a few of the patterns with the desire to understand what is pleasing to our Father.
1 Chronicles 28:6-9, 19 says;
“6 He said to me, ‘Your son Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a father to him. 7 I will establish his kingdom forever if he resolutely performs My commandments and My ordinances, as is done now.’ 8 So now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of YHVH, and in the hearing of our Elohim, observe and seek after all the commandments of YHVH your Elohim so that you may possess the good land and bequeath it to your sons after you forever. 9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for YHVH searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. 19. “All this,” said David, “YHVH made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, all the details of this pattern.” [It’s the same for us today. YHVH has put in the writing of the Scriptures all the details of the patterns for us to live as the temple of the Holy Spirit to which the Seven Spirits desire to dwell. The presence of YHVH needs an obedient vessel to His commandments in order to dwell there. If we understand that the garden of Eden was the first “Tabernacle/Temple” for the presence of Elohim to dwell with mortal man, then we understand that when Adam and Eve disobeyed the commandments given to them, they could no longer remain in the place chosen for His presence. But, this is not the state that our Heavenly Father desires for us to remain. Therefore, He made a provision to restore us back to His original design for His people…to be the dwelling place for His presence. For this to happen, we must receive Yeshua as the Messiah and His way of life, which was obedience to His Father’s commandments.]
Let’s continue with a couple of more patterns in the Word. 2 Chronicles 15:1-7 says,
The Prophet Azariah Warns Asa
“1 Now the Spirit of Elohim came on Azariah the son of Oded, 2 and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: YHVH is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. 3 For many days Israel was without the true Elohim and without a teaching priest and without law. 4 But in their distress they turned to YHVH Elohim of Israel, and they sought Him, and He let them find Him. 5 In those times there was no peace to him who went out or to him who came in, for many disturbances afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands. 6 Nation was crushed by nation, and city by city, for Elohim troubled them with every kind of distress. [Notice who troubled them…not the devil, but our Elohim who is sovereign over all. When we allow the Seven Spirits of Elohim to permeate our souls, then we will accurately understand who is troubling us so that we don’t find ourselves rebuking or striving against our Creator. Once we understand, then we can judge whether what we’re going through is a judgment or a journey or maybe a little of both and then we can correctly respond with repentance and returning to His ways and rest and trust the route which He is taking us.] 7 But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work.”
Psalm 32:1-7 says, “1 How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! 2 How blessed is the man to whom YHVH does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit! 3 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah. 5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to YHVH”; and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. 6 Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him. 7 You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
YHVH understands the way through the wilderness of our wanderings and He desires to be the place in which we dwell. This happens when we understand that grace gets us in the house and obedience keeps us there.
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
