Fear of YHVH

Shabbat Shalom!! We look forward to gathering with the Treasured Ones today!!

Today we will continue looking at what the rewards, requirements and promises are for those who Fear YHVH.

Psalm 147:7-11 says,

7  Sing to YHVH with thanksgiving; sing praises to our Elohim on the lyre,
8 Who covers the heavens with clouds, who provides rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the mountains.
9 He gives to the beast its food, and to the young ravens which cry.
10 He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 YHVH favors those who fear Him, those who wait for His lovingkindness.”

Psalm 40 is a fitting Psalm for anyone who may be in a pit of ANY KIND today, may these words cause us to RISE UP and bring freedom and liberty to our souls as we turn our hearts to reverence our King and Creator!!

1 I waited patiently for YHVH; and He inclined to me and heard my cry.

He brought me up out of the pit of destructionout of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.

3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our Elohim; many will see and fear [reverenceand will trust in YHVH.

4 How blessed [happyis the man who has made YHVH his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.

5 Many, O YHVH my Elohim, are the wonders which You have done, and Your thoughts toward usthere is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count.

6 Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired; my ears You have opened; burnt offering and sin offering You have not required.

7 Then I said, “Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me.

I delight to do Your will, O my Elohim; Your Law is within my heart.

9 I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; behold, I will not restrain my lips, O YHVH, You know.

10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.

11 You, O YHVH, will not withhold Your compassion from meYour lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.

12 For evils beyond number have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see; they are more numerous than the hairs of my head, and my heart has failed me.

13 Be pleased, O YHVHto deliver me; make haste, O YHVH, to help me.

14 Let those be ashamed and humiliated together who seek my life to destroy it; let those be turned back and dishonored who delight in my hurt.

15 Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me, “Aha, aha!”

16 Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in Youlet those who love Your salvation say continually, “YHVH be magnified!”

17 Since I am afflicted and needy, Let YHVH be mindful of me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my Elohim.

There are subtle tactics the enemy uses to try and defeat us.  One of the ways he employs to try and destroy us is through our own thoughts and beliefs about ourselves, as well as what we “think” others believe about us, and most of all what we think our Creator feels about us.  The Father desires to deliver us!!!  He gives us the keys in His Word.  Taking our thoughts captive into the obedience of the Word is required.  Magnifying and meditating on the goodness of YHVH and His lovingkindness is required.  When we do this we have positioned ourselves to remove the thoughts and imaginations that try to exalt itself above the knowledge of the Word.  Why?  Because the Word reveals YHVH’s heart toward His people that fear Him.  If we can receive it by faith, we can let go of all the condemnation that comes to try and steal the truth and joy from our hearts. Be FREE from whatever holds you captive in Yeshua’s name!!!

May we have a joyful Shabbat!!
