Spirit of YHVH
Our Daily deLIGHT ~ 4th Day
In 2 Corinthians 3 there are two verses, if we stop and think about what it’s saying, that can really LIGHT us up to receive and understand what is intended for us as believers in the one true Elohim!! These verses are seventeen and eighteen. It says, “17 Now YHVH is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of YHVH is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of YHVH, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from YHVH, the Spirit.”
What is true liberty?
What does it mean to be unveiled?
The word liberty in verse seventeen means freedom!! But this is not a freedom from obeying the Torah as we’ve often been taught; it is a freedom from the bondages of sin. It is a freedom from the penalty of sin. It is freedom from addiction. It is freedom to love as He loves. It is a freedom to obey the truth. And most of all it is freedom to have the Spirit of YHVH living within us and among us.
When we receive Yeshua as the Messiah and are filled with the Spirit of YHVH we are now considered unveiled to see the GREATER glory of the ancient covenant because it was Yeshua’s redemption that it points to. This process is what brings us “Back to the Garden” where we will forever live in the kingdom with our Creator and His Son!!
We sometimes still feel “veiled” in our understanding, but the more we yield to the Spirit of YHVH the clearer we will see the truth and be transformed.
Psalm 119:44-45; “44 I will always obey Your law, forever and ever. 45 And I will walk in freedom, for I have sought Your precepts.” 1 John 3:4 says that breaking or transgressing the law/Torah is sin and sin is bondage; therefore, when we keep His precepts we are free!!
Psalm 119:32; “I run in the path of your commandments, for you have set my heart free.”
True liberty is living as we should and not as we please!!
May the light of the Spirit of YHVH be our source for all that we think and do!!
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
