Understanding
As we read the Word each day, the Spirit desires to give us understanding so that we will know how to live, we will know what is pleasing and displeasing to our heavenly Father, we will know what has been, what is and what is coming. A repeatable theme that we read in the Scriptures is about departing from evil and cleansing ourselves. This is because an unclean vessel cannot dwell in the presence of a holy Elohim; therefore He gives us every way and opportunity to be able to prepare ourselves for His presence. He desires us but will not share us with the carnal evil of this world. He wants all of us and leads us to the path to righteousness. The map to this path is found in the written Word and He trains us how to understand the map so that we can arrive at our destination, which is His presence, as a clean vessel. As we begin to read the verses below, may we stop and ask the Father to, “Open our eyes that we may behold [understand] wonderful things in His Torah.” Psalm 119:18
Isaiah 52:11-15 says,
11 Depart, depart, go out from there, touch nothing unclean; go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of YHVH.
12 But you will not go out in haste, nor will you go as fugitives; for YHVH will go before you, and the Elohim of Israel will be your rear guard. [We are never left alone!! The Father always surrounds His people to accomplish His will.]
The Exalted Servant (Prophesy of Yeshua)
13 Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.
14 Just as many were astonished at you, My people, so His appearance was marred more than any man and His form more than the sons of men. [This would be the case when Yeshua was crucified.]
15 Thus He will sprinkle many nations [cleanse the nations], Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; for what had not been told them they will see, and what they had not heard they will understand. [Paul writes much about this when he was sent to the Gentiles.]
Isaiah 1:16-17a says, “
16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil,
17 Learn to do good;
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 says,
14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
15 Or what harmony has Messiah with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
16 Or what agreement has the temple of Elohim with idols? For we are the temple of the living Elohim; just as Elohim said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR ELOHIM, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
17 “THEREFORE, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” SAYS YHVH. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
18 “And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says YHVH Almighty.
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
