John 15:7-11 says, “ 7  If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8  My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so  prove to be My disciples. 9  Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10  If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. [Yeshua isn’t asking anything that He isn’t also doing] 11  These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.”

Psalm 19:8 says, “The precepts of YHVH are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of YHVH is pure, enlightening the eyes.” [The Word allows us to see clearly what is true and what to do]

John 17:22-23, 26, Yeshua praying to His Father concerning His people, “22 The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23  I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. 26  and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.””

Today’s Counsel teaches us:

1. How to get answered prayers
2. What glorifies the Father
3. What is proof that we’re His disciples
4. What defines love
5. How to be in Unity with YHVH and His Son and each other
6. How to receive His joy to the full

The Spirit of Counsel will be had in our lives if we read and heed the Word everyday!!  We cannot abide in the vine if we’re not listening by obeying the counsel of the Word.  The lack of this disconnects the branch from the life giving source that comes when we are in the vine. The Spirit of Counsel calls to us today to make a fresh renewal to have the discipline to read and heed!!!
