Saying number 9 is from Proverbs 23:6-8.  It says, “​6  Do not eat the bread of a selfish man, or desire his delicacies; 7 For as he thinks within himself, so he is.  He says to you, “Eat and drink!” But his heart is not with you. 8 You will vomit up the morsel you have eaten, and waste your compliments.” [You will find out their true character and that any time you gave toward them will be destroyed. Allowing the Seven Spirits of YHVH and the Gifts of the Spirit to flow in our lives will keep us from falling into this trap.]

Deuteronomy 15:9-10, “​9 Beware that there is no base thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of remission, is near,’ and your eye is hostile toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing; then he may cry to YHVH against you, and it will be a sin in you. 10 You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him [Yah loves a cheerful giver], because for this thing YHVH your Elohim will bless you in all your work and in all your undertakings.”

Proverbs 28:22 says, “​A man with an evil eye [selfish or stingy] hastens after wealth and does not know that want will come upon him.” [Doesn’t consider that he reaps what he sows]

 We’ll close with a pattern of how our Elohim is toward His people. In Isaiah 25:6-9 it says, “6  YHVH of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; a banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, and refined, aged wine. 7 And on this mountain He will swallow up the  covering which is over all peoples, even the veil which is stretched over all nations. 8  He will swallow up death for all time, and YHVH Elohim will wipe tears away from all faces, and He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for YHVH has spoken. 9 And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our Elohim for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is YHVH for whom we have waited; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

In that day:

1. He will prepare a lavish banquet for all people on the mountain
2. He will remove the veil that has been over the people
3. He will swallow up death forever
4. He will wipe all tears away from all faces
5. He will remove the reproach
6. His Salvation will be made complete

The table of YHVH is the one which we will, and are supposed, to eat!!  When we have a pure heart and stay away from selfish associations and not “dine” with them, in turn we are then dining with our Creator.  Conversely, when we reach out to others and help unselfishly, we are eating at the table of YHVH.  If we will receive His Words and allow the Spirit of Wisdom to show us how to operate in His character now, we will be among those for whom the lavish banquet has been prepared.
