Yeshua is the Great Counselor that YHVH, our Heavenly Father, gave to us; the One who will bring about His plan and purpose for His people!! Today we will see that purpose in the verse below is the same Hebrew word used for counsel.

Psalm 20:4 says, “ May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your counsel! [Your Purpose]”

Zechariah 6:11-13 says, “11 Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. 12  Then say to him, ‘Thus says YHVH of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is  Branch, for He will  branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of YHVH. 13  Yes, it is He who will build the temple of YHVH, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.”’ This is very much a Messianic prophesy.  It is well understood that the counsel of peace is between the offices of the king and priest.  Yeshua, our Counselor, is both king and priest who will fully accomplish this when He comes and establishes His throne and rule on the earth.

We’ve used Micah 4:11-13 before with a different Spirit of YHVH.  Today let’s read it in the context of the Spirit of Counsel “11 But now many nations have assembled against you, saying, “Let her be defiled, and let us feast our eyes on Zion.” 12 But they do not know the thoughts of YHVH and they do not understand [Biyn] His purpose [Or counsel ~ Etzah]: for He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor. 13 Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for your horn I will make of iron and your hoofs I will make bronze [Iron and Bronze were used as implements to thresh grain, therefore He gives us everything we need to accomplish His will.] that you may pulverize many peoples.  That you may devote to YHVH their unjust gain and their wealth to YHVH of all the earth.”

Understand today that the Father’s counsel, plan and purpose will be accomplished for all those who will stay gathered and not scattered!!
