Power
There are days that it is good/tov to be reminded how great and powerful our Creator is!! We may sometimes get so covered over with our circumstances that we are tempted to get discouraged, disappointed and even feel defeated; yet, when we read the powerful words in the verses below and mix it with our faith, we can then be encouraged to look away from our personal weaknesses and draw on His strength and power!!! As we keep the truth in the forefront of our minds, then our faith and confidence can be strengthened and renewed.
Jeremiah 10:6-7, 12 says,
6 There is none like You, O YHVH; You are great, and great is Your name in might [power].
7 Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You.
12 It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom; and by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.
Jeremiah 32:16-19 says;
16 After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, then I prayed to YHVH, saying,
17 ‘Ah Adonai YHVH! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,
18 who shows lovingkindness to thousands, but repays the iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their children after them, O great and mighty [powerful] Elohim. YHVH of hosts is His name;
19 great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds;”
Psalm 96:4-6 says,
4 For great is YHVH and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But YHVH made the heavens.
6 Splendor and majesty are before Him, strength [power] and beauty are in His sanctuary.
Isaiah 12:6
Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
May we remember the awesome works of YHVH and His Son Yeshua so that we are able to overcome whatever we face through their Spirit of Power and Strength. As we do this we are also able to encourage others during their time of testing. The words of our Scriptures have much power when believed and applied. Let us eat the scroll and gain our strength!!
Have a blessed and shalom filled day!!
